Kensington Golf and Country Club has hosted the internationally recognized finals of the Nuveen Masters Tour, a premier event that traditionally features Connors, McEnroe, Borg, and other top tennis players. The tennis facilities with seven hydro-grid courts are an excellent amenity at Kensington.
The elegant 30,000 square foot clubhouse features beautifully decorated formal and casual dining rooms, an Olympic sized pool, and fitness center. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and features ample use of water, coquina shell waste bunkers, a minimum of five tee locations on each hole, and many undulations that create interesting play throughout the course. Jones also did a nice job of incorporating the natural beauty of wetlands and other preserved areas.
The gated entry to the 370-acre community is located on Pine Ridge Road in North Naples. Kensington features estate homes, single-family, detached villas, courtyard homes, and distinctive coach homes, all artfully arranged around the meandering golf course.
